This beautifully lustrous yarn is sourced from Gotland sheep raised in Great Britain, and is also spun in the UK. It’s a worsted-spun 3-ply yarn, but you’ll notice that it has a bit of
a “hairy” halo, which gives it a unique texture.
As Gotland fleeces have less crimp than other breeds, it feels quite dense in comparison, and has much less elasticity. You may initially find this yarn to be on the prickly side and
less suited to wearing against the skin, but it will soften with washing and wear.
Note: "Garland" was this month's warm colour option, "Longest Night" was the neutral option, and "Greenery" was the cool option.
