Ume Blossom

DESIGNED BY ELIZABETH SULLIVAN

Pattern Sizing and Materials

This simple but ingenious garment is inspired by the Japanese haramaki, a “bellywarmer” which can be worn either over or under clothing to provide an extra layer of warmth on cold days. The design includes ribbed side panels for a snug fit and an intarsia motif inspired by plum blossoms, making the finished piece both practical and fashionable.
