Jacob - Aran Weight
Épuisé $30.00 CAD
We have a limited amount of extra Jacob skeins from our March box for the Beyond Merino Yarn Club, which we're making available to yarn club members. If you'd like your purchase of additional skeins to be shipped with your May yarn club box, please use the coupon code provided in your email to avoid extra shipping charges. If you would prefer not to wait, please do not use the code; shipping will be calculated at checkout and we will ship your order right away.
We chose this Jacob yarn for our second Beyond Merino box because we really wanted to showcase the wide variety of wools that are out there. This 3-ply worsted spun yarn is fairly lustrous, but not as bouncy as a merino (or Corriedale).
While this one may not be comfortable for neckwear or next-to-skin garments (depending on your sensitivity levels) it’s still suitable for a wide variety of projects, such as mittens, slippers, or pillows!
Note: "Tulip" was this month's warm colour choice, "Crocus" was the cool colour option. "Intense Tulip" is a test skein that was created during our development process and is a deeper colour, with more vibrant reds and oranges in it.
For more information on working with hand-dyed yarns, please see our FAQs page.
