Named for Frontenac County in Eastern Ontario, these gloves are designed with cold Canadian winters in mind. They are knit in our Andante superwash merino, using a smaller needle size than is usual for a worsted weight yarn in order to create a dense fabric that will block the wind and keep your fingers cozy.
There is something very satisfying about creating a perfectly-fitted glove, so this pattern includes three sizes for palm circumferences from 7–9¼". The two different cable patterns used to give these gloves texture are easily memorized, and are given in both written and chart form.
