Are you intrigued by knitting techniques such as lace, brioche, and steeking but hesitant to try them on your own? Join our club to receive a new box of beautiful hand-dyed yarn every two months, explore new knitting techniques with photo and video tutorials, and try out your new skills with exclusive patterns from our featured designers!
For this club we've asked some of our favourite designers to create brand-new patterns showcasing the techniques we'll be exploring. Our line up for the first 6 boxes includes:
• Mosaic Knitting with Arella Seaton
• Lace Knitting with Gabrielle Vézina
• Stranded Colourwork with Faye Kennington (UkeeKnits)
• Cables with Fatimah Hinds (DisturbingTheFleece)
• Steeking with Jennifer Beale
• Brioche with Michele Lee Bernstein (PDXknitterati)
These talented designers will use their expertise to create patterns that introduce the featured technique in an approachable way, and illustrate its strengths and possibilities. Whether you're just jumping in to knitting or a seasoned crafter looking to try something new, we're sure their designs will inspire you to create beautiful projects.
Club members will receive a new box every other month, containing two packets:
- Part 1 will include enough pre-wound yarn to jump in and start knitting some practice swatches right away, and links to the photo and video tutorials to guide you in your explorations.
- Part 2 will include the link to download an exclusive pattern from our featured designer, and enough hand-dyed yarn to complete the project.
Debbie and Elizabeth will be your guides as we explore these new techniques together (with help from our featured designers), and you'll be invited to join our private online discussion group to meet other members and cheer each other on as you build your new toolkit of knitting techniques.
Subscription Options
The pricing for the yarn club is as follows (all prices in CAD, not including tax):
- Single box: $79 + shipping per box
- Bi-monthly subscription: $69 + shipping per box (automatically charged every two months)
Subscriptions can be paused or cancelled at any time. If we're featuring a technique that you're not interested in you can skip that box and continue with the next one, while maintaining your spot in the club and the member pricing.
Subscriptions will remain open as long as we still have spots available.
You'll be sent the next available shipment after the date you subscribe. You can find the featured techniques, subscription deadlines, and shipping dates below.
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and are $10 CAD/box within Canada and the US.
Please note: we cannot currently accept PayPal payments through our website for yarn club subscriptions. If you would like to purchase a membership and would prefer to pay via PayPal please contact us.

What's in the boxes?
Each bi-monthly shipment will include:
- An exclusive knitting pattern created for the club by our featured designer
- Enough hand-dyed yarn to knit the pattern
- minimum of 200g per box
- choose between 3 colour options for each box
- 20-40g of pre-wound yarn for practicing the new technique and swatching for the pattern
- Detailed PDF with information and photo tutorials for learning the featured technique
- Video tutorials with tips and information about the featured technique
- Invitation to join our online discussion spaces
